She was predeceased by: her siblings, Satwinder Singh Suri and Brijmohan Kaur Phull. She is survived by: her husband Narinder Singh Ahluwalia; her daughter Simran Safer; her son-in-law Mark Safer; her grandson Hugo Emanuel Safer; and her siblings, Awtar K. Hoonjan, Hardeep K. Channe, Baljeet Suri, Mina Gata-Aura, Kiran Ranhotra and Shally Singh Suri. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and countless friends.
