Sulay Melendez wrote a sympathy message

“In loving memory of My brother Christopher Cruz, Chris, We are still in shocked that you are no longer with us. You were everything to our parents, to me your sister even though we joked about something about each other, and to your niece and nephew but mostly important to your wife Andrea and my nephew Issac who I promise will always have you present in his life and heart. I promise you that we will watch over him and our parents. I will truly miss you every single day because I love you.”
