Samuel Porter wrote a sympathy message

“Friends and family members I lost contact with my cousin more than twenty years ago. I live in California now but every time I returnd to Hackensack. I asked about my cousin. As children his mother and father owned a house on Stanley Place. His mother was my baby sitter. I remember the knaps she would make us take and the fun we had playing in the neighborhood. I am very sorry to hear about his passing.”
