It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donald Vincent Ortmann of Jersey City, New Jersey, who passed away on July 29, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Ortmann and Marie Ortmann; his son Vincent Ortmann; and his siblings, David Ortmann and Marie "Mickey" Ortmann.
He is survived by: his wife Maria Ortmann; his children, Linda Ortmann, Yvette Ortmann, David Ortmann and Douglas Ortmann; his grandchildren, Vincent Jr., Michael, Steven and Kayla; and his sisters, Sister Barbara Ortmann and Patricia Rakausaas.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anne's Church (3545 John F. Kennedy Blvd, Jersey City, NJ 07307). An entombment will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Holy Cross Chapel (340 Ridge Rd, North Arlington, NJ 07031).
