Fred Karl Koehler Obituary
FRED KARL KOEHLER, 90, of Clifton died Thurs-day. Born in Germany, he came to the United States in 1923. Before retiring in 1963, he was a chemical operator for Hofimann-La Roche Inc., Nutley, for 20 years. Previously, he was a dyer at Botany Woolen Mills, Passaie.
He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church and a former member of the Krankenkasse Nord, both in Passaic. He had been a singer with the Lakewood Maenner-chor. Surviving are a son, Karl F. of Clifton; three sis-ters, Henrietta Kichofi, Maria Koehler, and Annie Bongardz, all in Germany; two grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. His wife, Ida Poehler Koehler, died in 1980. Services will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. at All-wood Funeral Home, Clifton, with burial in Cedar Lawn Cemetery, Paterson. Visiting will be Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
