He was predeceased by: his parents, John V. Marto and Marie (Amoroso); and his brothers, Christopher and Michael Marto. He is survived by: his children, Dana Maria Marto Sullivan and John Anthony Marto; his grandson Noah Timothy Sullivan; and his siblings, Rosemarie Romeo (Rocco), Linda Paldino (Peter "Bitsy"), Richard Marto, Patricia Marto, Diane Garcia (Luis), Sandra Bou (Andre), Chrisjohnna Catanio (John) and Gemma Gillen (Matthew). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation (3205 John F. Kennedy Blvd, Jersey City, NJ 07306). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Rosary Church (344 6th St, Jersey City, NJ 07302). A burial will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Holy Name Cemetery (823 West Side Ave, Jersey City, NJ 07306).
