He is survived by: his sister Emalina Somo; his wife Natividad (Gonzalez) of Butuan City; his children, Carmenchu Caballero, Karen C. Tayeh (David Tayeh), Pollyn C. Horvath (Richard Horvath) and John Caballero; his grandchildren, Jillian Tayeh, Jordan Tayeh, Ava and Olivia Horvath; and his great grandchild Gemma Grace Perales. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and their children.
