It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Luis Gutierrez of Jersey City, New Jersey, who passed away on November 12, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Silvestre Gutiérrez (Ynocencia Durand) and Lima; and his son-in-law Abdel-Hamid Ammar. He is survived by: his wife Maria Gutierrez; his children, Yesica Gutierrez, Andy Gutierrez and America Ammar; his grandchildren, Yasmin, Nabila, Omar and Alexi; and his brothers, Idelfonso, Basilides, Tomas, Wilfredo and Jose Gutierrez.
