He is survived by: his parents, John Collins and Patricia Ann Collins; his wife Bernadette Toner; his brother John Patrick Collins; his nephew Cole Michael Collins; his uncle John McInerney; his aunt Anne McInerney; his cousin William Hannis; his uncle Tom Hannis; his mother-in-law Bernadette D. Toner; and his pet Charles "Charlie" Bark Lee.
In lieu of flowers, we request that memorial donations be made to Treasure Coast Hospice in Stuart, FL, where Michael spent his final days in peace and comfort amid palm trees and warm breezes.
