He is survived by: his wife Luz Martinez Obligacion; his son Federico "Freddy" Burke; his siblings, Stephen, Vincent, Gerard, Thomas and Anne; his in-laws, Michele Burke, Amy Burke and William Ernestburg; and his cousins, Patricia, Jim, Colleen, Mike, Katrina, Denis and Joanne Sweeney. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, and grand nephews.
