He was predeceased by: his father Mauricio Palao; and his brothers, Mike Palao and Ted Palao. He is survived by: his wife Jocelyn "Joy" (Medel); his children, Patricia Palao (Jason Stableford) of Strafford, VT and Robert Joseph Palao (Diana Hong) of Clifton, NJ; his grandchildren, Beatrix and Sylvia Stableford; and his siblings, Manuel Palao, Salou Sobrepeña, Gus Palao, Eric Palao, Joey Palao, Christian Palao and Mita Palao. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
