He was predeceased by: his parents, Apostolos Koliopoulos and Konstantina Koliopoulos; his siblings, Vasilios and Georgia Tsiampas; and his son-in-law John Petris.
He is survived by: his wife Konstantina Mavrogiannis (Dina); his daughters, Demetria Petris and Nina; his son-in-law Charles Anastasiou; his grandchildren, Michael, Samantha Anastasiou, John and Sam Petris; and his sister Athanasia Tatakis.
