She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Douglas and Teresa Douglas; her grandson Anthony Ackerson; her sisters, Elaine Massari, Barbara Meehan and Cecelia Cagnina; her son-in-law George Panagakos; and her children, Christopher Ackerson of Holmdel, Mark Ackerson (Kathleen) of Leonardo, Cheryl Panagakos of Atlantic Highlands, Karen Ackerson (William Scobie) of Keansburg and Mary Reseter (Jack) of Keansburg.
She is survived by: her sister Helen Caruso (Angelo) of North Arlington; her brother-in-law James Meehan of Ocean Township; and her adoptive daughter Ginger Rogan. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
