She was predeceased by: her siblings, Lourdes Lora, Maria Maia, Joao Maia, Afonso Ferreira Da Silva, Jose Silva, Celia Felix, Alexandrina Correia, Manuel Maia, Fernanda Batel, Maria Helena Santos and Fernando Maia Silva.
She is survived by: her children, John Paul, Diane Celeste and Sandy; her grandchildren, Serenity, Lazarus and Katana; her brother Antonio Maia; and her siblings-in-law, Manuel Santos, Antonio Felix and Maria Jose Silva. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, March 6th 2026 at 8:30 AM at the Shaw-Buyus Home (138 Davis Ave, Kearny, NJ 07032). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Holy Cross Church (323 Harrison Ave, Harrison, NJ 07029).
