She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Garretson; her children, James "Jim-Jim" and Margaret; and her brothers, Mickey and Bernie Dempsey.
She is survived by: her children, Kelly Albright (Robert), Theresa Malley (John), Jason (Rosanna) and John Garretson; her grandchildren, Mandi-Lynne, Ryan, Tiffany, Samantha, Dylan, Johnny, Taylor, Robbie, Jared, Kelly and Angelina; her great grandchildren, Ryder, Dakota, Kahilia, Alora and Margo; and her brother James Dempsey (Jude). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Mulligan Funeral Home (331 Cleveland Ave, Harrison, NJ 07029). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at the TBD Holy Cross Cemetery (340 Ridge Rd, North Arlington, NJ 07031).
