She was predeceased by: her husband John Nixon; her son Bob Nixon (Helen); and her grandson Matthew. She is survived by: her children, Liz McAveney (Jerry), Dana Wojciechowski (Gary) and John Nixon; and her grandchildren, Sean, Brian, Caitlin, Danielle, Gary, Keith, Kristen, John, Rob and Lori. She is also survived by 21 great grandchildren.
