With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Helena Maria Costa (Kearny, New Jersey), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 23, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Helena Maria leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Helena Maria may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jose Julio DaSilva and Maria Joana DaSilva; her husband David; her son Wesley Costa Jimmy Costa (Jessica); and her grandchildren, Isabella, Nova, Naya and Navya.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Shaw-Buyus Home (138 Davis Ave, Kearny, NJ 07032). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the same location.
