He was predeceased by: his son Brian J. Kolakowski; and his siblings, Diane L. Kenyon and Henry Kolakowski. He is survived by: his wife Marie; his daughter Katelyn Dayock; his grandchildren, Carter and Kayla; his brother Stephen Kolakowski (Renee); and his siblings-in-law, John Kenyon, David Buckley (Liz), Susan Beeler and Bob Beeler.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Armitage & Wiggins Funeral Home (596 Belgrove Dr, Kearny, NJ 07032). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, September 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St Stephen's Church (141 Washington Ave, Kearny, NJ 07032).
