Margaret Hamilton Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Margaret Hamilton of Kearny, New Jersey. Margaret, born in Jersey City, New Jersey, passed away on July 29, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Patrick Sawyer and Agnes Sawyer; her brother Dennis Sawyer (Joan); her brothers-in-law, Rev. Frank Hamilton and Kenneth Snuffer; her nephew Robert Hamilton (Allison Hamilton); and her close friends, Joan Stefano and Alice DeGasper.

She is survived by: her sisters, Helen Hamilton and Patricia Snuffer; her sister-in-law Joan Sawyer; her nephew Kenneth Hamilton (Deborah); her niece Judith Hopkins (Fred); and her grandchildren, David Hamilton, Charles Hopkins and Natalie Hopkins. She is also survived by four great granddaughters and a host of nieces and nephews.
