Ruth touched many lives and will be remembered fondly for the moments shared and the memories created. Family, friends, and colleagues extend their love and support during this time. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Patricia G. Gilchrist and Thomas Gilchrist; her siblings, Thomas P., John and William Gilchrist; and her nieces and nephews, Julia Barbara Gilchrist, Allison Patricia Gilchrist, Valerie Ruth Currais and Sheila Marie Solomon. She was also cherished by many cousins and lifelong friends.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Queen of Peace Church (186 Ridge Rd, North Arlington, NJ 07031).
