Sara leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Sara’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Sara will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ernesto Perez; and her son Hugo Perez. She is survived by: her children, Klever Perez, Irma Perez, Elsa Posso, Silvia Duque, Nancy Batista and Leonor Rodriguez; and her siblings, Susana Rodriguez, Mariana Rodriguez, Hugo Rodriguez and Hernan Rodriguez. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Thiele-Reid Family Funeral Home (585 Belgrove Dr, Kearny, NJ 07032). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
