He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry McCourt and Elizabeth McCourt (Ainslie). He is survived by: his wife Barbara McCourt (Seeley); his children, Karly (Christopher Duncan), Jillian (Owen Nee) and Ian McCourt; his siblings, Harry McCourt, Robert McCourt (Erika Rigby McCourt) and Jackie Rafferty (late Jim Rafferty); his siblings-in-law, Christina Tighe (Desmond Tighe) and David Garrison; and his grandchildren, Isla and Mia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Thiele-Reid Family Funeral Home (585 Belgrove Dr, Kearny, NJ 07032). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Cecilia Church (120 Kearny Ave, Kearny, NJ 07032).
