Susan Benenati Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Susan Benenati of Kearny, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 5, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Susan shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Susan farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her mother Eleanor Bowman (Brown); and her brother-in-law Stanley Grusenski. She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Sebilia (Vincent) and Michelle Benenati-Soto (Jorge); her father Ernest "Red" Bowman; her siblings, Gail Grusenski and David Bowman; and her grandchildren, Emily, Frank Sebilia, Malia Soto and Jorge Soto, III. She is also survived by three nephews and one niece.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to the John Theurer Cancer Center.
