He was predeceased by: his wife Angele Azar (Shehade). He is survived by: his children, Tony Azar (Ghada) of Ottawa Canada, Therese Baradhi (Fouad) of North Brunswick, Mireille Azar of North Brunswick, Marcel Azar (Micheline) of North Brunswick and Mario Azar (Michelle) of South Dakota; and his grandchildren, Rose Baradhi-Masaad, Joseph Baradhi, George Baazak, Andrew Azar, Amanda Azar, Michael Baradhi, Sharbel Azar, Zechariah Azar and George Azar. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Sharbel Maronite Catholic Church (526 Easton Ave, Somerset, NJ 08873). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Resurrection Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Sharbel Church.
