It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edwin Martinez of Keyport, New Jersey, who passed away on September 28, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Edwin had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Edwin may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carmelo Martinez and Iris Martinez; and his brother Hector Martinez. He is survived by: his wife Belinda Martinez; his son Steven (Yvette); his grandsons, Julian and Andrew; and his siblings, Daisy Villar and Richard Martinez (Lydia). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Edwin's memory to his cause, the Wounded Warrior Project.
