He was predeceased by: his wife Dolores (Galvin); his parents, Dorothy Borelli (O'Brien) and Joseph Borelli; his daughter Mary Borelli; his daughter-in-law Mary Lou Borelli; his sister Dorothy Borelli; and his grandson Matthew Nierstedt.
He is survived by: his children, Martin Jr., Patricia (Charles Nierstedt), Joseph, John, Margaret (Peg) and Michael Borelli; his grandchildren, Jaclyn Fitzgerald, Lauren Ventola (Nick) and Robyn Nierstedt; and his great grandchildren, Sienna Marie and Thomas Matthew Ventola. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM and on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Day Funeral Home (361 Maple Pl, Keyport, NJ 07735). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the St. Lawrence RCC Laurence Parkway (109 Laurence Pkwy, Laurence Harbor, NJ 08879). An entombment was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at the Holy Cross Cemetery (340 Ridge Rd, North Arlington, NJ 07031).
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Tunnel of Towers Foundation or a, charity of your choice in Martin's name.
