He was predeceased by: his parents, Rose Philippy and Alphonse Philippy; his son William; his siblings, Harold, Basil, Delores Weinzierl, Lois Fox and Rosemarie Sorensen; and his son-in-law Ian Jarcho.

He is survived by: his wife Ginee; his children, Andrea Murphy (Matt), Cory Philippy, Glen Garvin (Domenica), Meg Jackstadt (Mike) and Ann Jarcho; his sister-in-law Ginny Philippy; and his grandchildren, Tim, Kate Murphy, Tyler, Gianna Philippy, Lizzie Huaranga, Amanda, Keira, Thomas Garvin, Isabella Gianluca, Avellina of Fazio, Zachariah, Jacob DiRenzo, Bethaney Jackstadt, Jordan and Nicholas Jarcho.
