He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hendy and Eileen Hendy. He is survived by: his wife Marion Thorborg; his children, James W. Hendy and Catherine; his son-in-law GaryWilson; and his grandchildren, Tyler Hendy and Katie Wilson.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Scanlan's.
In lieu of flowers, donations to New Jersey Firemen's Home or the Kinnelon Volunteer Fire Department would be greatly appreciated.
