It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Matthew Mudd of Kinnelon, New Jersey, born in Bloomingdale, New Jersey, who passed away on September 29, 2022, at the age of 33, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his grandparents, Jere and Rose Mudd. He is survived by : his wife Katie Mudd; his parents, Paul Mudd (Jennifer) and Cynthia Harven (Jim); his siblings, Jeremy (Liana Hutcheon) and Rebecca (Phil Unto); his stepsisters, Sarah and Alexandra; his grandparents, Gordan, Barbara Soder and Dale Confrey; and his pets, Sophie (Lala) and Nova (Scotia). He is also survived by his many in-laws, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, friends, and cousins.

Matt and Katie fostered 7 dogs through the pandemic until they were able to find their forever homes.
