She was predeceased by: her husband Harald Aune; and her sister Dorothy Scrozynski. She is survived by: her brother Frank Jakubowski; her daughter Michele Yankura; her son-in-law Peter Yankura; her son Scott LaPelusa; her daughter-in-law Tracy LaPelusa; her grandchildren, Sara Wienhold, Andrew LaPelusa and Jessica Goldblatt; and her great grandchildren, Eleanor Wienhold, Kaleb LaPelusa, Jaxon and Shea Goldblatt.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Saint Jude's Childrens Hospital.
