He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Arthur Potter and Lillian Winthers; and his stepfather Charlie Winthers. He is survived by : his close friend Sharon Hart; his pet Stitch; his stepdaughters, Michelle Hart (Thomas Daly) and Kimberly McGowan; his sisters, Mary Anne Gravatt (late Junior) and Marlene Gravatt (George); his grandchildren, Maci and Teagan; and his nieces and nephews, Charlene (Ron), Karen (Bob), Wanda (Steve), Cassie, Wayne (Dawn) and George (Anna). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
