It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Day Sr. of Lakewood, New Jersey, born in Wayne, New Jersey, who passed away on September 30, 2025, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Day and Marjorie Day (Truex); and his brothers, Brian Day and Keith Day. He is survived by: his wife Marion Porciello; his children, Gary Day Jr., Angela Pittius (Joseph) and John Day; his grandchildren, Hazel and Casey Pittius; his stepson David Porciello; his stepgrandchildren, Gracie and Christiana Porciello; and his brother Paul Day (Lisa). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A reception will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Weatherhead Young Funeral Home (885 Mantoloking Rd, Brick, NJ 08723).
