He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hayes Sr. and Joyce Kintzel Hayes; and his sister Patricia Hayes Buchanan (Winfield Buchanan). He is survived by: his wife Kay Miller Hayes; his children, Brian Hayes (Amanda Guralski Hayes) of Kingwood Township and Jessica Hayes of Lambertville; and his brothers, Robert Hayes Jr. (Barbara Mullen Hayes) and Richard Hayes of Lambertville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
