It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edward Dougherty of Landing, New Jersey, born in Teaneck, New Jersey, who passed away on May 6, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Hiram Dougherty and Della Dougherty (Costello); and his siblings, Charles, Billy, Andrew, Mildred and Della.

He is survived by : his wife Virginia "Ginny" (Bargellini); his children, Andrew Dougherty, Jodianne Dougherty, Edward Dougherty, Jr. and Keith Dougherty; his grandchildren, Lindsey Hosler, Kelsi Hosler, Sarah Hosler, Hannah Dougherty, Abigail Dougherty, Katie Dougherty and Dalton Dougherty; and his great grandchild Riley Hendershot.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 8th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home (150 Landing Rd, Landing, NJ 07850). A prayer was held on Wednesday, May 8th 2024 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
