With sadness, we share the passing of Charles J. O'Brien of Lawrenceville, New Jersey. Charles, born on July 20, 1941 in Brooklyn, New York, passed away on October 4, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles O'Brien and Mary O'Brien (Holzinger); and his siblings-in-law, Michael (Gail) and Marsha. He is survived by: his wife Judy O'Brien (Judith E. Demcsak); his siblings, Dennis, John and Pat Bessor (Joe); and his siblings-in-law, Ellen and Robert (Jeanne). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and close friends.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Church (216 Nassau St, Princeton, NJ 08542). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Mary's Cemetery (1200 Cedar Ln, Trenton, NJ 08610).
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, The Hun School of Princeton, Norwich University in Vermont or St. Paul Church in Princeton.
