It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Diana E Rooney of Leonia, New Jersey, who passed away on May 15, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Diana has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Foulkes and Sylvia Foulkes. She is survived by: her husband Robert Rooney (Bob); her sister Glenna Rosenthal (Les); her sister-in-law Catherine Kaulfers (Terence); her nieces, Lauren Picerni (Nick) and Katie Kaulfers; her nephew Paul Kaulfers (Priscilla); her great-niece Madeleine Picerni; and her great-nephew Theodore Kaulfers.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Diana's memory to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
