He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernestus S. Adams and Ann D. Long Adams of Towaco, NJ.; and his siblings, Ernestus S. Adams, Jr. of East Hartford, CT, Alexander Adams of Denville, NJ, John Adams of Carmel, CA and Ann Mann (Nancy) of Hallstead, PA..
He is survived by: his wife Barbara S. Adams; his children, Danielle D. Adams-Neuhs (Kevin Neuhs) and Edward J. Adams (Lauren Kimble Adams); his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Neuhs, Charlotte Neuhs, Zachary Adams and Tegan Adams; and his brother David Adams of Lake Hiawatha, NJ..
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Keri Memorial Funeral Home (125 Main St, Lincoln Park, NJ 07035). A procession will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 10:15 AM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Good Shepherd Episcopal Church (9 Two Bridges Rd, Towaco, NJ 07082).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The New Jersey Firemen's Home.
