He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Miriam Tandoc-Abes; his children, Marissa Villeza, Marygrace Abes and Homer James Abes; his siblings, Eleazar Abes, Cenen Abes, Estelita Abes, Fermina Abes, Perlita Pamintuan and Diana Abes; and his parents, Genaro Abes and Consorcia Ambrocio. He was also cherished by his grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
