He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Thal and Louise Thal; his sister Barbara Thal; and his uncle Eric Koenig. He is survived by: his wife Diane Thal; his children, Paul, Keith and Laura; and his grandchildren, Kelly, Kristina, Ryan, Trevor, Sarah, Bennett and Liam.
