She was predeceased by: her parents, Piedade Maria of Abreu Alves and José Alves. She is survived by: her children, Stephanie Minervini and Marcos Alves; her son-in-law Joseph; and her siblings, Maria, Graça, Lucia, Antonio, Marcio, Gilceia and Wilson.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Dooley Funeral Home (218 N Ave W, Cranford, NJ 07016). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at the same location.
