He is survived by: his father Charles Q. Baker; his brother Tyrell Charles Baker; his aunts, Mildred Baker and Valerie Sheafe; and his close friends, Douglas Carter and Bernard Sander. He is also survived by nieces, great nieces, nephews, great nephews and cousins.

Kalim and his brother, Tyrell would attend the car shows at Jacob Javits Center every year before COVID.
