He is survived by: his sons, Martelly Cadet (Michaelle Cadet), Belga Cadet and Juniordi Cadet; his siblings, Paul Cadet, Demase Cadet, Gabriel, Ernso Cadet, Pelicye Cadet and Saint Anne Cadet; and his grandchildren, Shirley Cadet, Jean H. Cadet, Marley Cadet, Measha Cadet, Maxson Cadet, Wendell Cadet, Jaydan Cadet, Neomi Cadet, Aiden Cadet, Aliyah Cadet and Ava Cadet. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
In his healthier days, he campaigned and collected donations to assist in the building of a school in Haiti to further the education of less fortunate children in the nation.
