With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emerito Ruiz Jr. of Linden, New Jersey, who passed away on June 1, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Emerito may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Emerito Ruiz, and Carmen Ruiz, Sr. (Ortiz); his son David Ruiz; his wife Aileen Ruiz (Vega); his children, Adam Ruiz and Aimee Ruiz; his siblings, Gladys Ruiz and Robert Ruiz; and his grandchildren, Jerred, Noah, Aaron, Izabella and David Ruiz.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Werson Funeral Home (635 N Wood Ave, Linden, NJ 07036).
