It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jewel Johnson Flagg of Linden, New Jersey, who passed away on May 22, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Jewel Johnson's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Jewel Johnson has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Elizabeth Eloise Johnson (Latine); her husband Leon Edward Flagg; her father Walker Allen Johnson, Jr.; and her siblings, Wanda Green, David Johnson and Walker Allen Johnson (Lorena Martinez).
An entombment was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Rosemount Memorial Park (1109 Neck Ln, Elizabeth, NJ 07201).
In lieu of flowers donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN., 38105-9959 in her memory would be appreciated.
