With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Joanne H. Steffan of Linden, New Jersey, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Joanne left this world on December 8, 2025 at the age of 85, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Alfred Ayla and Genevieve Ayla (Wzorek); her husband Michael J. Steffan; her children, Michael J. Steffan and Judith Chiusano (Joseph); her grandchildren, Jude Chiusano, Michael Steffan and Jennavieve Chiusani; and her sibling Alfed Zyla (Barbara).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Walter Johnson Funeral Home (803 Raritan Rd, Clark, NJ 07066). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John the Apostle Church (571 Valley Rd, Clark, NJ 07066). A burial will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the St. Gertrude Cemetery (53 Inman Ave, Colonia, NJ 07067).
