Leonarda Merlo Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leonarda Merlo of Linden, New Jersey, who passed away on May 26, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Giuseppe and Fillippa (Joseph Merlo Sr.); her children, Joseph Merlo Jr. and Phyllis A. Patti; and her grandson Luciano Merlo.

She is survived by: her children, Carmella Merlo, Michael Merlo (Lois), Anthony Merlo and Philip Merlo (Donna); her children-in-law, Carmelo Patti and Catherine Merlo; her grandchildren, Giuseppe, Joseph III, Alexia (Jon), Luciana (Joe), Nicole (Chris), Salvatore (Sandra), Anthony Jr., Paola (Kevin), Michael, Danielle, Gina and Gabrielle; and her great grandchildren, Giovanni, Giancarlo and Naomi. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home (2124 E St Georges Ave, Linden, NJ 07036). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. John the Apostle Parish (1805 Penbrook Terrace, Linden, NJ 07036).
