It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Manuel V. Garcia of Linden, New Jersey, who passed away on May 31, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosa Isabel Rojas and Manuel Garcia; and his sister Elsa Garcia Palencia. He is survived by: his wife Dolores Garcia (Cardenas); his children, Maria Magdalena Bodek (Richard), Odalys Sawycky (Roman) and Elizabeth DiAndrea (Daniel); and his grandchildren, Meghan, Richard, Roman, Darian and Daniel Niccolo. He is also survived by 3 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Walter Johnson Funeral Home (803 Raritan Rd, Clark, NJ 07066). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church (220 E Blancke St, Linden, NJ 07036). An entombment will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Gertrude Cemetery (53 Inman Ave, Colonia, NJ 07067).
