She was predeceased by: her parents, Simon Joyner and Ida Dawson; her grandchildren, Jamil Joyner and Tonya Montague; and her brother Benjamin Joyner.
She is survived by: her son Glascus "Gene" Joyner; her great grandchildren, Keeya Boone, Tanesha Boone, Keith Boone, Rodney Montague, Jessica Montague, Dayshia Paul, Jabari Joyner, Laila Joyner and Brandon Parker; and her great great grandchild Syrian Boone.
