She is survived by: her husband Dwayne Legette; her parents, James Pope and Ruthie Pope-McLean; her daughter Lakarra; her son-in-law Mathieu Clerveaux; her son Stephan; her daughter-in-law Malekia Sosa; her daughters, Kayla, Dejané and Shakira; her grandchildren, Kali, Clark, Kyrie, Kaylani and Artist; her sisters, Syreeta and Anesha; her brother-in-law Charles; and her aunts, Hettie and Shirley. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, church family, friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, January 9th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 9th 2026 at the Mt. Pisgah AME Church (354 Forrest St, Jersey City, NJ 07304). A burial was held on Saturday, January 10th 2026 at the Rosehill Cemetery (792 E Edgar Rd, Linden, NJ 07036).
