It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerard Joseph Torpey of Linwood, New Jersey, who passed away on July 13, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Torpey and Anne Regina Torpey (McDonald); his wife Betty Isabella; and his sisters, Nancy and Kathleen Torpey.
He is survived by: his significant other Charlotte Dodds; his children, Gerry and Stacy; his grandson Gerry; and his siblings, Rose Lee Ennis of Houston, TX and Bill (Mary) of Herndon, Virginia. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
